A dirt road disappears at a bend in a forest at dusk.
The most important things in life are the connections you make with others.

Decades of research have shown that friendship is key to feelings of happiness.

  • Do you have real friends?

  • Do you want closer friendships?

  • Are you able to maintain meaningful connections?

Meaningful Connections

Why is it so difficult to make friends as an adult?

Because meaningful connections take time, trust, and vulnerability.

Adults typically don’t have many natural opportunities for regular interactions with other like minded adults. One must consistently make time for and show up to events or activities that creates a cohort of some sort to first develop familiarity which leads to basic trust. Once that base level of trust is developed, the opportunity for real vulnerability and the possibility to form deep lasting bonds presents itself.

For anyone who is lacking meaningful connection in their lives, I invite you to search for a place where you will feel comfortable being yourself, where new groups are formed regularly, and to trust yourself to form new friendships with people who were once strangers.
